Tips for Applying Online
- Make sure that your pop-up blocker has been turned off.
- If you have an up-to-date resume prepared, it should take less than 30 minutes to complete the online application process.
- If you do not have a prepared resume, collect the following information prior to beginning the online application so you can enter your data without interruption.
- Personal data (name, address, phone number, etc.)
- Education (school name, location, average grades, etc.)
- Employment experience (current/prior employers, dates of employment, etc.)
- Licenses (including driver’s license), apprenticeships, certificates (dates issued, issuing authority, etc.)
- You will be asked to upload your resume, which is preferred.
- Follow the steps provided (e.g. Contact Information, Current and Prior Employment, etc.)
- To fully portray your education, skills and experience, it is best to complete every field to make sure we have all your qualifications.
- Many of our positions do require a valid Iowa Drivers License, so include your drivers license information on the "Licenses and Certificates" page.
- Be sure to click the “Submit” button at the end of the application process to save your data. If you do not click “Submit,” your application will not be entered into the system.
- You will be notified by e-mail when we have received your resume.
