Pay Stations

For your payment convenience, Des Moines Water Works is pleased to offer pay stations in grocery stores throughout the community.  You may make your monthly payment at most local Hy Vee, Dahls, and select Drug Town locations (see list of approved pay stations). 

To take advantage of this convenient option, you must present your most recent billing statement at the time of payment.  To avoid an interruption in service, termination notices (red statements) are not accepted at pay stations.  You must make payment on termination notices at Des Moines Water Works’office at 2201 George Flagg Parkway, Des Moines.

Des Moines Water Works’ billing system is not directly linked to each pay station.  Once payment is made, the pay station will mail your payment to Des Moines Water Works.  Please allow 10 days processing time for payments to be received by Des Moines Water Works.  Your account is not credited until your payment reaches Des Moines Water Works.
