Three reasons to sign up for DIRECT PAY:
1. It saves you time. DIRECT PAY is the automatic way to pay your utility bill each month. No more searching for a stamp or driving to the pay station, DMWW's office, or the post office to pay your bill.
2. It saves you trouble. You can avoid the hassle of missing a payment if you go out of town or just forget to pay your bill. Ten days after the billing date (found in the upper right hand corner of your bill), your payment is automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account at your financial institution. Never pay a late fee again because the check didn't arrive on time!
3. It's easy! Just download and print the DIRECT PAY form, complete the information and send it to us along with a voided check or deposit slip. A record of your monthly payment will be shown on your next DMWW bill and on the account statement you receive from your financial institution.

Pay Stations: For your payment convenience, Des Moines Water Works is pleased to offer pay stations in grocery stores throughout the community. You may make your monthly payment at most local Hy Vee and Dahls locations. (see list of approved pay stations).
